Centrale-Audencia-ensa Nantes Business Incubator

As an entrepreneurship support program, the purpose of the Centrale-Audencia-ensa Nantes business incubator is to create innovative companies in the Pays de la Loire region by providing project backers with optimal conditions so that they can convert their project into a business.

The synergies between the three teaching and research institutions recognized nationally and internationally in the fields of engineering, management, communication, design, architecture and creation provide incubated projects with exceptional conditions, enabling them to:

  • Validate the value proposition and business model
  • Build the team
  • Achieve initial commercial success
  • Develop the company created

The Centrale-Audencia-ensa Nantes business incubator is for:

  • students and graduates of one of the three institutions
  • backers of projects promoting the results of research carried out in the laboratories of these schools. The incubated projects are installed in the Pays de la Loire.

The business incubator offer

The business incubator provides project backers with high-level expertise thanks to the involvement of academic staff from the three Schools and that of outside experts. The support is provided through a network of experts, a coach consultant, training seminars and contacts with entrepreneurs.

The incubated projects also receive logistics support and the means they need, such as workspaces, meeting rooms, databases, etc.

Business Incubator governance

The Strategy Committee meets once a year. It defines the work priorities for the year. It consists of School deans, an Alliance Delegate, the Alliance Entrepreneurship Officer, the head of the business incubator, a key player in the field (outside the three institutions, who is not a competitor), 1 or 2 staff members from previous incubated projects.

The Steering Committee validates the correlation between current operations and the strategy defined by the Strategy Committee. It meets quarterly.

The Selection Committee meets 4 or 5 a year and consists of an "Establishment" College (the head of the business incubator, Alliance Entrepreneurship Officer, 1 teacher), an "Incubated project / graduates" College (3 persons), an "Experts" College (1 representative from partner support organizations, one finance expert, one marketing-business development expert).
